Good morning all!
Well, the carnival festivities are over and that means normal life resumes once again here in the south of the Netherlands. That also means I'm expected back at work, so no more full days of crafting for me, boooooh! I love my work really, but it's just so nice playing around the crafty desk all day long once in a while that makes me a little reluctant to go back to work.
Anyway, Wednesday again, so that means another challenge @ Fab 'n Funky. Our lovely teamie Shirley has chosen the theme this week and it is "HEAT STROKE". So get out your hot and/or summery images and play along! We are sponsored this week by Doodle Pantry, who also allowed the DT to play with some of their images. I chose to use a pre-coloured image, Bird Bath Joy, but they also have the same image uncoloured. Such a wonderful image and after all, what's nicer during a hot summer's day then to cool off?
Materials:
* Doodle Pantry Bird Bath Joy, pre-coloured image
* Prima Prima Bella & Echo Park For the Record DPs
* Forest Moss Distress Ink
* Button and pearl from stash
Hope you like the theme and will get inspired by all the creations from the DT girls, have a look here to see for yourself!
Challenges:
* Card Makin' Mamas (Stack It Up)
* Pattie's Creations (Spots & Dots)
* Crafty Bloggers Network (Nature)
* Crafty Sentiments (Spots or Dots)
* Top Tip Tuesday (3, 5 or 7) 3 colours, 3 DPs, 3 pearls, 5 banners

Hippity Hoppity
Morning all!
I'm continuing my Not a Card theme this week, as I have a bookmark to share with you. I've made this project as inspiration for this week's Delightful Challenge, themed "Hippity Hoppity", so include a bunny, rabbit or a spring theme. I kept my project fairly flat this time, as it will be difficult to use when it has too much dimension.

* Digital Delights Precious Bunny & Bookmark set, coloured with Promarkers & Spectrum Noirs
* DCWV Bright Textured CS and assorted scraps
* Marianne Design Letters & More background stamp
* Ribbons from Create & Craft
Challenges:
* Simply Create Too (Easter/Bunnies)
* Fairytale Challenge (Photo Inspiration) Bunny image
* Digi Haven (Easter)
* Creatalicious (Lovely Easter)

* Desert Island Craft (3 from the list) rabbits/bunnies, use lots of yellow, flowers
* Always Something Creative (Easter)
* Stamp & Create (Fur or Feathers)

Let's Get Sentimental
Hi everyone!
Phew, what a hectic week it has been! Last Saturday, we celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and I decided to make a memory book for then with memories and photos from the guests that were invited. Man, did I underestimate the amount of work! Towards the end, I was completely spent and still needed to do a couple of pages! Suffice to say I was close to chucking the whole lot in the bin, but thankfully I somehow managed to complete the book AND write a little speech. It all went without a hitch and my parents loved the book and the speech. Mission accomplished :)
However, I am glad to go back to my own crafty projects, starting today with the new Fab 'n Funky Challenge. It's an easy one this week: "Add a Sentiment". As usual, any project or style will do, link up your creative projects and join the challenge! Our sponsor this week is Digi Darla, who generously donated several images for the DT to work with. I picked Butterfly Wonder, such a cute image and perfect for those Spring cards!
Materials:
* Digi Darla Butterfly Wonder digi, coloured with Promarkers & Spectrum Noirs
* Echo Park For the Record DPs

Think Spring
Good morning all,
You might not get the feeling it's spring when you look out of the window (I certainly don't!) but this card was all about spring! My cousin just had a baby boy and with that in mind I wanted to make a less traditional baby card to send her. I used all my lovely DP scraps were still lying on my desk leftover from previous projects and which I hadn't cleared away yet. I am pretty happy with the way it turned out AND my desk is a little cleaner to boot ;)
As it is the beginning of the month, there is a new release over at Digital Delights. I've used Flying Roxster which I found such a cute image and perfect for little boys' cards. The Delightful Challenge theme this week is "THINK SPRING", asking you to use pastel colours (as you can see from my card, I'm a total idiot and forgot the pastel bit), if you have the time and inspiration please come and join us!
Materials:
* Digital Delights Flying Roxster & Spring Sentiment Set, coloured with Promarkers & Spectrum Noirs
* DCWV the Photo Stack 2, Echo Park A Walk in the Park & My Minds Eye Fine and Dandy True Blue DPs
* Peacock Feathers & Vintage Photo Distress Ink
* DCWV Green Stack Chipboard Bird
* Eline Vintage Sentiment Stamp Set
* Buttons & star gems from stash
Challenges:
* The House that Stamps Built (Bright Colours & Vibrant Prints)
* Crazy 4 Challenges (Smiles & Happiness)
* Color me Creative (Colour with Texture) The Little Bear
* Allsorts (Let's Get Cute)
* Catch the Bug (Anything Goes)
* Gem of a Challenge (Gingham or Checks)
* One Stop Craft (Anything Goes)
* Bunny Zoe (Anything Goes)
* Tuesday Alchemy (Anything Goes)
* Card & Scrap (Use a Stamp)

Pink Flower Congratulations
Good Morning Everyone!
What a lovely weather it is, such a pity the weekend it going to be awful again :( We went to the garden centre last night to pick up a few flowers for the garden and the house, so I will be putting them in pots today.
Talking about flowers, I made another vintage style card, this time using some paper roses I had in my stash for a while now. They are lovely, but sure do make it hard to get the card in an envelope! Worth it though :)
Materials:
* Studio Light Vintage image
* Prima Marketing Sparkling Collection DPs
* Eline Vintage Stamp Set
* Pink paper roses, plain pink paper and pearls from stash
Challenges:
* Paper Pretties (Use Bling)
* 2 Sisters (Spring is in the Air)
* Paper and Such (Spring/Easter)
* Craft You Passion (Monochromatic)
* Creative Stamp Friends (Spring)
* Mark's Finest Papers (Shades of Pink)
* Saturday Challenge (Shabby Chic/Vintage)
* CES (Inspiration Photo - I've take the pink colours and the flowers)
* Creative Inspirations Paint (Monochromatic)
* Prairie Fairy Fridays (Spring Fling)
* Milk Coffee Challenge (Throw On Those Flowers)
