Black and Orange.....but not Spooky!

Hi all!

Today my project is another lay-out, using traditional Halloween colours....but it's not about Halloween! I've used this great colour combo to scrap about my daughter's love for all things bouncy, she is just happy as a clam sitting on the see-saw in the playground or on my old rocking horse at home. I'm pretty happy with how this came out, combining one large photo and several smaller ones.

The black and white background paper was a little damaged in the upper right corner. I tried to fix it by adding layers, but it looked messy and distracting to me. Then I just tore the corner off and put a little yellow paper scrap behind that and liked it much better :)

My project fits well with our new challenge over at the Pinspirational Challenge, where we have this inspirational photo to work with:



It suits Halloween projects, but also projects about cats or scrappy pages about making pumpkin pie, or.....well, I'm sure you can come up with even better ideas! I used the colour scheme and the outside theme.

What an Easel......

Round Up Those Bots!

Hi everyone,

Another Thursday, another Delightful Challenge! Our theme this week is "Round Up" or use Circles in your project. I've used circles in a number of ways; first, I cut out a circle shape and made a patchwork design on it with some of my scraps from the scrappy shoebox. Then I used a circle punch & round gems,buttons and a washer. I wonder what you can come up with, please share your circle projects with us!

Green & Orange

And there she is again!

Are you getting tired of me yet? ;) I have to agree, its a packed Monday this time around. But promise, this is my last project for today for the Ooh La La Design Team. Don't you just love this image? So romantic and even though orange isn't usual my colour I love it here. It's really soft and pastel here. Good morning all!

Today I have a sweet card to share with you, made for a colleague who is currently on bed rest and can use a little pick-me-up right about now. Here's sweet fairy Lily, isn't she a cutie?

Halloween Christmas

Good afternoon,

Hope you all are having a great weekend? My parents were at ours for the weekend, we just put them back on the train so now I have some time to update my blog.
