No Squares Allowed!

Good morning everyone!

Hope you are all having a good week? I had a great day yesterday, because I found out that my first research project is going to be funded! Yay me ;) Seriously though, it's great news and a really great opportunity to showcase myself and the project. So you can imagine I am in an extremely good mood :)

Our challenge theme this week over @ Fab 'n Funky is "Don't be Square", so use other shapes on your project than square. Great theme Angelique :) I decided to go for a circle card, as I hadn't done them in a while and they're always so cute. We are being sponsored by Digi Darla & Stampart by Katherine this week, so most of the DT is using one of their images. I think this Digi Darla cutie is originally a Christmas/Winter image, but I think it still works like this!

Materials:
* Digi Darla Snow Time Scottie 3, coloured with Promarkers & Spectrum Noirs
* DCWV Street Lace & K&Co Earth Tones Solid DPs
* MS Picket Fence Border & Scalloped Circle punches
* Peel off borders from stash

Round Up Those Bots!

Hi everyone,

Another Thursday, another Delightful Challenge! Our theme this week is "Round Up" or use Circles in your project. I've used circles in a number of ways; first, I cut out a circle shape and made a patchwork design on it with some of my scraps from the scrappy shoebox. Then I used a circle punch & round gems,buttons and a washer. I wonder what you can come up with, please share your circle projects with us!

Materials:
* Digital Delights Diddibot set, coloured with Promarkers & Spectrum Noirs
* Echo Park A Walk in the Park DP and assorted scraps
* Scalloped circle punch
* Forest Moss Distress Ink
* Eline Vintage & Stampendous Changito in Space Stamp sets
* Papermania Mini Buttons Verde
* Ribbon & gems from stash + a washer from the toolbox

Our sponsor this week is
Offering a 15 dollar store gift card to the challenge winner

You're Not Forgotten

Hello all!

This week's challenge theme @ Delightful Challenges is "THINKING OF YOU". I've used this theme is a fairly general way, but perhaps you would like to interpret it as a condolescense card, a card to cheer someone up or something else altogether. Either way, we'd love to see it!  I thought to try my hand at a different shape card. I don't own a die cut machine, so used my old school pair of compasses to trace the circle and cut it out by hand. I suppose it's not exactly round because of it, but I still like it. I love the idea of a die cut machine, but it seems like there's so much investment involved, with all the plates you need and of course the dies and embossing folders. But who knows, I might still buy one one day :)
