Hi everyone,

It's Monday again and its a bank holiday here in the Netherlands. Tomorrow our current queen is stepping down and her son is following in her footsteps, so that is earning us a couple of extra days off. Never a bad thing! Especially this week, as I have picked up yet another cold and snottery at home is a whole lot better than being snottery at work.

Hi all!

It's Thursday again, only a couple more days and it's the weekend again! I have to admit I am looking forward to it, it has been so crazy busy and I have been suffering a little bit from the jet lag earlier in the week. I'm looking forward to a nice long lie-in :) Going to see Eddie Izzard on Monday didn't help things either, as we were home by 1 and I had to get up again at 6. He was really funny though, as was his warm-up act :)

The Power of Love

Hi all!

You might have noticed that it has been a little quiet on my blog this week, that's because I was on holiday. We spent 10 lovely days in the Big Apple, it was great and we saw a lot. Of course we were pretty shocked when the Boston marathon bombing occured on one of our last days in New York, very surreal to see all the press coverage and the massive police force out on the streets. I have to admit I felt a little unsafe after that, something that really hadn't happened before during our trip. Thankfully they caught those responsible, I can only imagine what they could have had in store........

Anyway, while in New York, I visited Michael's, one of their crafting store chains, to stock up on a number of lovely goodies. I bought some lovely punches, a circle cutter and some paper pads, which I am sure will feature in my upcoming projects very soon :) I made this card with my 'old' stash, using up some lovely papers that I have had for ages but never used before. So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Goodbye!

I'm here with my last project for Platypus Creek Digitals. I have had a great time being a member of such a lovely DT but am feeling I need to take on a little less responsibility in the crafty world right now and play a little more, just for fun. Easel Does It

Good morning all!

It's time for another challenge over @ Ooh La La, asking for your "Easel Cards". I love easel cards, although I've had to tell several people that I sent them to how they work as I've seen them displayed upside down or sideways LOL

I've used an image from the Ooh La La's Fleur D'Imagination CD called Pink Blossom. As usual, the CD has several toppers & decoupage using this image with lovely matching DPs, so I really didn't need to use any other paper this time around.

Round Up Those Bots!

Hi everyone,

Another Thursday, another Delightful Challenge! Our theme this week is "Round Up" or use Circles in your project. I've used circles in a number of ways; first, I cut out a circle shape and made a patchwork design on it with some of my scraps from the scrappy shoebox. Then I used a circle punch & round gems,buttons and a washer. I wonder what you can come up with, please share your circle projects with us!

Is it a bird......Is it a plane.......No, it's......

Supermom! Well, the image is called supermom anyway, personally she reminds me a whole lot of those iconic WWII posters with Rosie the Riveter, but I think we can agree this lady is one tough bird! Green & Orange

And there she is again!

Are you getting tired of me yet? ;) I have to agree, its a packed Monday this time around. But promise, this is my last project for today for the Ooh La La Design Team. No Recipe for Disaster

This is my second post of the day, two more to come!

The new PCD challenge is starting today, Tracey has developed a recipe that I'm sure you'll find tasty! You need to following ingredients: "2 printed papers, 1 ribbon, 1 charm". Lots of different ways you can use this recipe, so I'm expecting quite a variety in projects. I had to do a bit of a "use what you have and make do", as I don't actually own any charms (apart from a couple of Christmas charms which didn't work with this card). So instead I used a brad, well, they're both metal right? I had my eye on some of the Whiff of Joy charms for a while, they seem really lovely and lots of variety in a pack, but if you guys have any other suggestions as to where I could get some nice charms that would be great! Anyway, here's my card:
