Simple Christmas card

Finally getting round to craft and post a new card again. I don't know how everyone can post so regularly, it's a nightmare for me! Anyway, this is the result of a few hours crafting. I wanted to make a really simple christmas card that would also be suitable for the guys but not look too simple. Turns out that takes tons of time, worth it though. Well, I think anyway....

I've just a gold A5 base card, but used a Crafters Companion scoreboard to emboss a decorative swirl cut the top part of the front of the card away. I've used backing paper from the same Dovecraft kit as I used on the Christmas girl with dog card. Inside the card I've used the same halfway down the card, so it looks a little like it's just one page (not exactly obviously). Some red glitter border and golden christmas tree peel offs and some golden glittery ribbon bow in the corner. Two gems as a finishing touch.

What do you guys think, suitable for a guy? I am submitting this card for the following challenges: DieCut Dreams Christmas Club challenge (Glitter, Ribbon and Gems; http://dcdchristmasclub.blogspot.com/2010/10/challenge-37-glitter-ribbons-and-gems.html), Ooh La La Challenge Blog Challenge (Nothing Floral; http://ooh-la-la-creationschallenges.blogspot.com/2010/10/challenge-64.html), Polka Doodles Challenge (Fancy or Interesting Folding; http://polkadoodle.blogspot.com/2010/10/week-39-challenge-fancy-or-interesting.html) and the Winter Wonderland Challenge (A Male Christmas Card; http://christmasblogchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/10/male-christmas-card.html).

Fingers crossed!
