Such an Elegant Rooster

Hi everyone!

Hope you all had a nice weekend? My weekend started on Friday, when I attended the wedding of a very close friend on the other side of the country, then travelled all the way back home to be on Student Information Market at the university the next day, then a spot of shopping. Hubs joined me in the evening and we had a fantastic steak dinner and then went to the cinema to see Gravity. Stunning images, but I thought the story was a bit weak. I spent Sunday lounging, crafting and catching up on my DT duties.

But now another week is starting and a new Ooh La La challenge is too! The theme this fortnight is "Things with Wings". I've used an image of a rooster from the new Shawn Jenkins Collection CD, which has some fantastic craft sets, both everyday AND Christmas! It would be great to see you all joining us :)

Golf Detour

Good morning all!

Hope you all have a lovely week ahead of you. I will mostly be horizontal, as I just had a small operation last week and am still in recovery mode. However, Monday waits for no woman and another Ooh La La Challenge is on the horizon! Talking about Ooh La La, they will be presenting their latest CD on Create and Craft coming Saturday and it really is a gorgeous new release. The programme starts at 10.00 UK time, if you're interested! Anyway, back to the challenge, the theme this fortnight is "F is for.....", so use something on your card beginning with F! I've used a Funny image of a Fairway, which I've Framed and used some Foliage in the corner. Love to see what you can come up with!

Magnificent Men

Good morning everyone,

Another week is starting, are we ready? Well, to be honest, I could have done with a couple of hours more sleep, but never mind. The Ooh La La Challenge is starting today with the theme "Magnificent Men". Let's celebrate the men in your lives by creating some stunning cards for them! I made my card for my father, who has loved horses all his life. So this image was perfect for him! I started with the image and selected some muted brown, green and pink papers to compliment the lovely image, added some embellishments and voila!

Launch New CD Ooh La La Nursery Times

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that this weekend Ooh La La is launching its latest CD, called "Nursery Times", focused on children and, you guessed it, nursery rhymes and characters! The show is on Create and Craft on Sunday @ 9.00 am. The DT ladies have made some lovely samples for the show, which hopefully will be on display. Easy as Pie

Hi everyone,

I'm late with my post today, totally slipped my mind! There's so much going on right now with my hubby having a new job (yay!) but being home much later and the huge workload at my work, I'm surprised I even have the time to craft!
