For My Mum

Good morning everyone,

It's Mother's Day today in the Netherlands and of course I made a card for my mother to send to her. I decided to revisit my old crafty stash and delve into all the decoupage books I have that never got used up. I found this adorable image with matching DPs that seemed just perfect for the occasion. Together with lots of embellishments I have found in my stash, I made this card. It doesn't open like a regular card, but you need to slide away the front to reveal the message inside. I made a double bow to bulk up the ribbon a bit, but it's still a dainty bow to me. Anyway, my mum should have received this card by now, so it's safe to post it here as she is a loyal follower of my blog and I didn't want to spoil the surprise. Let's hope she likes it!

Materials:
* Create & Craft Pastels CS
* Studio Light image, DP and sentiment (it says I think of you in Dutch)
* Vintage Photo Distress Ink to blend the edges
* Pearls, ribbon, brad and flower stickers from stash
