Good morning everyone!
Monday again, where does the weekend go? I had a lovely time shopping with my friend, even though I had a lot of train trouble which resulted in me traveling the entire breadth of the country to get where I needed to go! I got there in the end though and we had a lovely time.
We are starting another challenge @ Ooh La La today, each of the DT members has chosen her own theme and we will share these themes with you at the coming challenges. This time, my teamie Pauline chose the theme "INSPIRED BY NATURE". So many ways you can interpret this theme, so we are looking forward to a whole bunch of diverse projects!
My card is a DL card this time, making use of the lovely long image with flowers from the Fleur D'Imagination CD. I decoupaged the flowers to make them pop of the page a little. I am looking forward to what you can do with this challenge theme!
Materials:
* Ooh La La Lilac Bell image and DP (inside card) from the Fleur D'Imagination CD
* DCWV The Green Stack DP, distressed with Ranger Distressing Tool
* Studio Light sentiment
* Pearls, Butterflies, Flower, Button & Twine from stash

Anything Goes for Snow Men
Good morning everyone!
This is my last week at work for this year, I'm having a well-deserved (well. I think so anway) break until the next year. I have three cards to share with you this week and then I am assuming it will be a bit quiet on the blog here as I prepare for Christmas festivities and crafty projects for the new year. This is the first of the three, as we are starting a new challenge today @ PCD and you can enter with just about anything as 'ANYTHING GOES AS LONG AS ITS TO DO WITH CHRISTMAS'. Are you still working on those last minute cards, why not enter them in our challenge? This is my take on the challenge:
Materials:
* Platypus Creek Digitals Hannah's Snowman, coloured with Promarkers & Spectrum Noirs
* DCWV Pastels Textured CS
* Dovecraft Let It Snow DP and some DP scraps from my scrappy shoebox
* Silver & Black Ink
* Digital Delights Winter Tickets Sentiment Set
* Eline's Winterhuis Sentiment Stamp Set
* Vintage Page Accents
* Lace from my stash
Hoping to see you and your lovely creations @ PCD, I will be back on Wednesday and Thursday with two more cards!
Challenges:
* City Crafter (Snowman Fun)
* There's Magic in the Air (Snow Man or Anything Goes Christmas)
* QKR Stampede (Snowmen, Snow Angels, Snowballs, Snow Fun)
* Do You Stack Up (Christmas)
* Happy Campers (Winter's Here)
* Charisma Cards (Christmas Makes)
* Shelley's Images (Christmas is in the Air)
* Gem of a Challenge (Lavender & Lace)
* Can You Digi It (Baby It's Cold Outside)

Your Choice of Orange and Black
Good morning all!
Today I have a sweet card to share with you, made for a colleague who is currently on bed rest and can use a little pick-me-up right about now. Here's sweet fairy Lily, isn't she a cutie?
Materials:
* Scalloped base card
* Pink Cat Studio digi "Fairy Lily on a Swing", coloured with Promarkers & Spectrum Noirs
* First Edition Hideaway & Art Talent DP
* Black Ink
* Clear Stardust Glitter Glue
* Eline Vintage Sentiment Stamp Set
* Hunkydory The Cat's Meow Sentiment (inside the card)
* Gems from stash
I made this card with the new challenge @ Fab 'n Funky in mind, this week the theme's "Orange, Black & Another Colour of Your Choice". We are being sponsored by Pink Cat Studio, who is offering 5 digi images for the winner.
However, I did get a little carried away with adding more than one additional colour, so even though I'm actually really happy with the end result, it doesn't really match the challenge theme. Let's see if you can do better! I'd love for you to join us :)
Challenges:
* Paper Pretties (Orange, Black and one other colour) I've chosen purple as my additional colour
* Paper Cupcakes (Orange & Purple)
* Paper Crafting Journey (Add Some Bling) Gems and Glitter Glue on the Fairie's wings
* Whimsy Stamps (All Things Sparkly)
* Top Tip Tuesday (Things with Wings)
* Fashionista Challenge (Anything Goes)
* Cards Galore (Anything Goes)
* The Cupboard Trilogy (Things with Wings)
* Hot Shot Craft (Bling It On)
* Paper Play Challenges (Simply Cute)

Lilac Lady
Good morning everyone!
Is it just as humid where you are? Today I have a card to share with you that is a little different, it's my first easel fold card! I know, I am not really cutting edge since this fold has been around for such a long time, but I had never actually tried it. I don't know why not, because it's so incredibly easy! The only drawback is that the card is much heavier due to the extra card panel, but it's nice to do something different!
This card really links up well with our latest challenge over at Card Makin' Mamas, we would like to see "BIRTHDAY" cards! I am sure you all need birthday cards, so why not join us? We are being sponsored by Tickled Pink Stamps; they are offering the winner of the challenge their choice of 2 digis or one rubber stamp from their Lil Lad, Lil Lolita or Lil Pinkette ranges. The image I have used is from the Lil Lolita range, called Lil Victorian Steampunk Lolita Evie. I think she is just gorgeous and just so versatile. I've used this to make a card for one of my 'aunts' birthday, I think she will really appreciate it. Well, let's hope so! I'd better include instructions how the card works ;)
Materials used
* White base card
* Tickled Pick Stamps Lil Victorian Steampunk Lolita Evie, coloured with Promarkers
* StudioLight sentiment
* Docraft Country Companions DP
* Lace, pearl, ribbons, holographic paper, gems from stash
Challenges
* Scrap Creations (Buttons and/or bows)
* Shopping Our Stash (Vellum, Violet or Violins)
* Emerald Fairies (Lace)
* NettieG's Digital Gems (Fancy Folds)
* Stamps R Us (Birthdays)
* Incy Wincy (Monochromatic)
* Let's Craft and Create (Use a digi)
* Little Darlings (Girly)
* Lollipop Crafts (Celebrations)
* Sparkles Forum (For the Girls)
Hope you like it, come and join us if you have the time!

Spring is here!!!...................or is it?
Good evening all. First of all, I would like to thank you all for the great comments I received on my cards recently, I've even got six people following my ramblings! I have to be careful not to let it go to my head ;)
Yesterday I had a litte time to craft and came up with this birthday card:
Here's the inside:
I've been making some cards for my mum, who has 'commissioned' some female-friendly birthday cards, that's why most of my recent cards have had dutch sentiments on. This week I have just received my first MS punch in the post and just had to use it on the card, those punches are really easy to work with! I really like the image, it is so springlike, if only the weather outside was giving me the same vibe! Oh well, it's only February, so as long as I am not snowed in I really shouldn't be complaining. But I am looking forward to Spring and Summer!
Materials used:
Paper: LaCreaDesign lilac
Image & sentiment: Studio Light
Punch: MS Doily Lace
Pearls & ribbon: stash
I want to submit this card to the following challenges:
* Charisma Challenges (Spring has sprung)
* Creative Inspirations (Plain and Simple)
* DYSU Challenge (Dots --> Do pearls count?)
* Paperplay Challenge (Add Shine --> Again, do pearls count?)
* Cupcake Inspiration (Photo Inspiration --> I've used lilac as in the icing)
Hope you like the card, let me know!
Ciska
