Good morning my fellow crafty persons!
Today is another grey one here in the Netherlands, I have been having problems getting up every day this week. A lovely warm bed and an extra snooze just seems too inviting for me to jump out of bed and get on with my day. But it had to be done, so here I am :)
I am sharing a challenge card with you for Fab 'n Funky today, our lovely Sue has set the theme of 'Pastel Colours'. We are sponsored by Saturated Canary, who is offering two digis to the winner, and the DT also got to pick an image to work with. I picked Naveah, such a lovely dreamy image, what a lovely floaty dress. As usual with Saturated Canary images, there is an abundance of hair to colour, which I think I didn't totally do justice, wasn't pleased with how that bit of the card turned out. I do like the shading on her dress though, I've done worse ;) I also decided to add a little hand stitching around the edges, I think it looks great but it was a hell of a lot of work and fiddly too! Anyway, I love how this card turned out overall, I can use it for so many occasions, including perhaps Mother's Day for my MIL.
