Good morning everyone,
Another week is starting, are we ready? Well, to be honest, I could have done with a couple of hours more sleep, but never mind. The Ooh La La Challenge is starting today with the theme "Magnificent Men". Let's celebrate the men in your lives by creating some stunning cards for them! I made my card for my father, who has loved horses all his life. So this image was perfect for him! I started with the image and selected some muted brown, green and pink papers to compliment the lovely image, added some embellishments and voila!
Looking forward to seeing all your lovely projects, we really do love visiting your blogs and gawking at your creative makes :)
Materials:
* Ooh La La Stallion image from Yesterday's Memories CD (my absolute fave!)
* Papermania Birdsong & K&Co Ancestry DPs, distressed with TH distressing tool

Use Up Your Stash: Horsing Around
Hello my fellow crafters,
Time for another Delightful Challenge, this week the theme is "USE YOUR STASH". Basically, we are challenging you to use items in your stash that you've had for ages and use it up! For my project, I actually went back to two stacks of stash; my crafty stash of course, but also my stack of older photos that haven't been put into albums yet. I found one of some of our ponies we used to have at home. This photo was taken at an exterior examination, which we would regularly attend.
Materials:
* Robin's Nest Cowboy & Calamity Jane Diagonal CS
* DCWV The Natural Stack CS
* Digital Delights Hallie the Horse, coloured with Promarkers & Spectrum Noirs
* Robin's Nest Cowboy Sticker Sheet
* Robin's Nest Dew Drops
* Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink
* Tim Holtz Distresser
* Brads from stash
The stash that I used up was some DCWV CS that I bought to scrap our wedding album (that was almost 3 years ago) and the brads that I've had for even longer. Our sponsor this week is Robin's Nest, who also made some lovely goodies available for me to use in this project, you can see the items mentioned in the materials list. Their CS is really nice quality, nice and thick, and their Dew Drops are really cool too as they carry different shapes (I've used round and diamond shapes on my card) and sizes so there's definitely a pack available for any project!
Challenges:
* Pattie's Creations (Anything but a Card)
* Allsorts (Add Some Sparkle)
* Challenges 4 Everybody (Anything Goes)
* One Stitch at a Time (Anything Goes)
* Glitter 'n Sparkle (Anything Goes)
* Polka Doodles (Anything but a Card)
* Creative Craft Challenges 2 (All About Animals)
* Crafty Boots (Use a Stamped Character)
* Ruby's Rainbow (Furry Friends)
* Creative Moments (Use Brads)
