Summer Z-card

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Whenever I am about to make a card, I like to pick my husband's brain to get inspired. So when I told him this week's theme @ Fab 'n Funky was "Feels Like Summer", he said: Flowers. Who can argue with that? So I decided to go with a garden theme, using plenty of flowers and even a butterfly. I made Z-fold card this time, really fun to decorate 3 cards in one!

Summery Soda

Hurray, the weather has taken a turn for the worse! Never thought I'd say that, but I have been really welcoming clouds, drizzle and most importantly a temperature drop to below 20 degrees Celcius! No doubt I will tire of this weather type soon enough, but in the mean time I am pretty happy about it!

Today I am sharing one of my last 'sweaty' cards, so kept it fairly simple again. Today we're starting a new challenge @ Fab 'n Funky themed "Anything that Looks like Summer". We are sponsored by Lily of the Valley and Lacy Sunshine this week, the latter also let the DT pick an image to work with, I chose this thirsty girl. I mean, is there anything more summery than a large drink with ice? Euh....probably, but still! What imagery makes you think immediately of summer? On the Fringe

Hi all!

The weekend is nearing and boy, am I ready for it! I don't sleep so well when it's this warm indoors, so some mornings this week I sat at my desk with small red eyes, stifling a yawn ;)

Our challenge this week is "Fringe", it could be either paper or fabric but give us some fringes! I decided to stick to paper and thought that a beach scene would be perfect here. Think hula skirts and those parasols's you see everywhere along the coast. Jimmie was such a treat to colour in, great image! The sentiment set is great too, perfect for summery cards. I combined it a a sun stamp to create a little beach scene.

Summertime Fun

Well, this is my last crafty project before we go on holiday. Two weeks traipsing around Scotland, we're going to visit so many gorgeous places! Anyway, this is my DT card for Card Makin' Mamas, our theme this time is "SUMMER FUN". I think my card is matching perfectly in the theme, this definitely is summer fun!
