Hello everyone, I'm back! We had a lovely holiday in Scotland, saw lots of great places. We even were lucky with the weather, even though on the first night in Edinburgh we almost drowned ;). Here are some lovely shots we made along the way.
Loch Ness
Portree, Skye
Glencoe
Gorgeous, no? Now that's we're back home I have another week off work, so plenty of time to get a little crafty ;) Due to the holidays I missed the Card Makin' Mamas challenge of "FOOD OR DRINK", but just got about in time for the inspiration post. Our sponsor this time around is Karber Digital Images, they are offering 2 digital stamps for the challenge winner. The image here is called Cupcake Denny, I had just the right backing paper and stamps to go with this one :) I had coloured the cupcakes ages ago, and I noticed that the Karber image also had cupcakes with little hearts on them so decided to colour them more or less the same. I think it looks really matchy :) You still have about a week to enter the challenge, so come on and join the fun!
Materials used:
* Dovecraft Piece of Cake backing papers
* Karber Digital Image Cupcake Denny, coloured with Promarkers
* Kars Cupcake and sentiment stamps
* Cosmic Shimmer Red Fire Twinkles
* Gems, ribbon, peeloff, paper roses and pink Nestability shape from stash
* Sentiment on the front: coloured it with Promarkers (I can't remember where I got it from, if you recognise it let me know)
I am submitting to these challenges:
* Totally Papercrafts (Bling It Up)
* Stampin' B's (Ribbon)
* Crafts and Me (Ribbon)
* Little Darlings (Girly)
* Scrapbook Sisters (Happy Birthday)
* Deep Ocean Challenges (Ribbon)

Sympathy Card
Hi everyone,
Here is the third card for this week, wow, I'm on a roll! Unfortunately, the making of this card didn't have a very happy reason. Our cleaning lady at work lost her husband this week. I wanted to send her my own card as she is such a nice person. Here is my card:
Materials used:
* Studio Light DP, 3D image and sentiments
* Pearls and blue paper from my stash
Submitted to these challenges:
* Poodles Parlour (Come Fly with Me; the Dandelion seeds are flying through the air, hope that counts)
* Allsorts (Anything Goes)
* Anything Goes Challenge (Letter D -> Dandelion)
* Bling it On (Anything Goes)
* Craft Your Passion (Anything Goes)
* Sentimental Sundays (Anything Goes)
* Ooh La La (Summer Flowers)
* KB Cute Monday Challenge (Anything Goes)
* Bearly Mine (Anything Goes)
* Deep Ocean Challenge (Any card)
Hope she likes the card, it's not very traditional but I think it's a great sympathy image.

DT news!
Hello everyone,
I am awfully sorry that I haven't been blogging for more than a week, stressed out students and their theses are taking up most of my time I'm afraid :(
However, this week I will probably have to show you quite a few cards, as I have been working on 4 but not finishing them until now. I will probably be back tonight with my first card!
Also, I have some great news, to those of you who are eagle-eyed you might have already spotted it, I've been asked to join the Christmas Card All Year Round DT! What a great opportunity, I wanted to join a Christmas-themed DT for quite a while and finally bagged it :) I will start on the August challenge, so keep your eye out for it!
