Lothian Crafts Online Candy
Lothian Crafts (http://lothiancrafts.blogspot.com/2010/09/lothian-crafts-challenge-6.html) are giving away a candy (promarkers and magnolia stamps). I have never worked with either product, but would love a play, so I am definately entering! Maybe you want to do so too.
Flower Bear Card
I've also made a flower card for the 3d card challenge (http://3dcardschallenge.blogspot.com/2010/09/challenge-8-sponsored-by-3d-nadia.html, the CES CHhallenge blog (animal antics; http://ceschallenges.blogspot.com/2010/09/challenge-5-animal-antics.html) and the Die Cut Dreams Challenge blog (Teddy Bear Birthday; http://diecutdreams.blogspot.com/2010/09/challenge-67-teddy-bear-birthday.html). The image is of the Popcorn the Bear Flower CD (Crafter's Companion), it's such a cute image. Some plain apricot backing paper, peel off bees, a nice big bow (bought it off Ebay a while back, excellent buy!) and a Kars sentiment stamp. Again, a fairly simple card, but it really makes the image stand out I think.

Christmas Card
In the last week, I have really been browsing all crafty blogs around here and got tremendously inspired. Especially the challenges look like fun, so I've tried to make a card for the Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club (http://dcdchristmasclub.blogspot.com/Challenge). I'm in full Christmas card mode anyway, so why not combine the two? The topic was 'Furry Friends", so I've chosen this ye olde style card with a picture of a girl with her dog. Yes, I am referring to the dog as furry, not the girl.....I hope I am doing it right challenge-wise and get some feedback from the challenge team.
The picture came from a hobbybook. I think the backing papers are Dovecraft, but can't tell you the exact range. They are gorgeous though. Just worked the edges a little with a black ink pad, some embellishment and hey presto!
Oops, I almost forgot Winter Wonderland http://christmasblogchallenge.blogspot.com/2010/09/deck-halls-with-boughs-of-holly.html) with their holly, red and green challenge and Totally Gorjuss with their christmas challenge (http://totallygorjuss.blogspot.com/2010/09/challenge-49-christmas.html). Ooh, I hope they like it!
