Hello all!
I have a scrapbook page to share with you today for the new Delightful Challenge "Three's a Charm"! The idea is that you use something in threes on your project, I've used 3 photos and three brads here. I've scrapped some photo's from our holiday on the Dutch island of Texel last summer; we had a great time, beautiful weather and we explored the whole island on rented bikes. I've used some bits of memorabilia as well, such as the Texel beer caps and the little leather bracelet we bought there and that broke on the first day :) Not much journaling this time, but I tried to make it interesting by adding all kinds of embellishments. I had a great time creating and reminescing :) If you'd like to join us, please do, make sure you let us know what "Three's" you used!

Saturated Pastels
Good morning my fellow crafty persons!
Today is another grey one here in the Netherlands, I have been having problems getting up every day this week. A lovely warm bed and an extra snooze just seems too inviting for me to jump out of bed and get on with my day. But it had to be done, so here I am :)
I am sharing a challenge card with you for Fab 'n Funky today, our lovely Sue has set the theme of 'Pastel Colours'. We are sponsored by Saturated Canary, who is offering two digis to the winner, and the DT also got to pick an image to work with. I picked Naveah, such a lovely dreamy image, what a lovely floaty dress. As usual with Saturated Canary images, there is an abundance of hair to colour, which I think I didn't totally do justice, wasn't pleased with how that bit of the card turned out. I do like the shading on her dress though, I've done worse ;) I also decided to add a little hand stitching around the edges, I think it looks great but it was a hell of a lot of work and fiddly too! Anyway, I love how this card turned out overall, I can use it for so many occasions, including perhaps Mother's Day for my MIL.
Materials:
* Saturated Canary Navaeh, coloured with Promarkers & highlighted with a Sakura Glitter Pen
* EMP Vintage and K&Co Ancestry.com Mat Pad DPs, slightly distressed with Distress Tool and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink
* Wooden butterflies from local stores (Xenos and Pipoos)
* Personal Impressions sentiment stamp
* Scalloped circle punch
* Pearls from stash
Challenges:
* Cutie Pie (Pretty Pastels)
* One Stitch at a Time (Use a Digi)
* Color Me Creative (Girly Time)
* Simply Create Too (Mother's Day/For a Female)
* LEJ (For a Lovely Lady)
* Whoopsi Daisy (Add a Sentiment)
* Paper Playtime (Sentiments Stamps)
* Tuesday Throwdown (Thinking of You)
* Little Miss Muffet (Blue & Yellow)
* Sassy Studio (Real or Faux Stitching)
