Hi all,
This week, it's my turn to pick a theme and host a challenge @ Fab 'n Funky and I've chosen "You can Stick It!". Okay, don't feel offended now, I am just referring to the type of product I would like you to use, which are Peel offs or Stickers, anything that sticks on it's own really. I don't know if you have the same 'problem', but I have absolute tons and tons of peel off stickers, borders, number and letters and haven't really been using them for a while. So I thought this would be the perfect time to use it up! Well, up, that would take numerous cards and other projects and they would have to be covered from head to toe in peel offs, but you have to make a start somewhere, right?
Here's my card:
Such a lovely image, Bugaboo is sponsoring us as well this week so if you fancy getting your hands on some of their digis as a prize, then come and play along :)

Duck the Halls
Happy Monday all!
Here I am again with another Ooh La La Challenge for you, this fortnight we want to see your creations that are "Inspired by a Song"! Can be any song, just let us know your inspiration in your post, it's always nice to know when we come around enjoying your projects. Please come and share your creativity!
I was inspired by the song "Deck the Halls", I loved this image straight away when I came across it on the Yuletide Wishes CD and wanted to use it for my card.
What do you think of the edge? I saw it somewhere else recently and wanted to try it out. The Kraft was a bit thick to cut through, so I had a few problems, but nothing a very sharp scissor to trim any leftovers couldn't fix :)
Materials:
* Ooh La La Duck the Halls image from the Yuletide Wishes CD; I used a glitter pen to trace the letters and then used Crafter's Companion Spray & Shine to ...well....give it a shine ;) Also make the glitter stay put perfectly!
* Dovecraft Noel DPs
* MS Doily Lace & Presents border punches
* Joy Crafts Flower Punch
* Fancy Edge scissors (yes, I know, who still does that, right? Still, worked really well.)
* Eline's Winterhuis Jingle Bells stamp set
* Vintage Berries Card Candi
* Ribbon from stash
Challenges:
* C.R.A.F.T. Challenge (Christmas)
* One Stop Craft (Add Stripes)
* Card Crafter's Circle (Things with Wings)
* Delicious Doodles (Christmas in August)
* A Gem of a Challenge (Punch It Out)
* Totally Gorjuss (Punch and/or Die)
* Inky Impressions (Anything with Wings)
* Diva's by Design (Christmas in August)
* The Hobby House (Christmas)
* Papertake Weekly (Occassio-nally)

Summery Soda
Hurray, the weather has taken a turn for the worse! Never thought I'd say that, but I have been really welcoming clouds, drizzle and most importantly a temperature drop to below 20 degrees Celcius! No doubt I will tire of this weather type soon enough, but in the mean time I am pretty happy about it!
Today I am sharing one of my last 'sweaty' cards, so kept it fairly simple again. Today we're starting a new challenge @ Fab 'n Funky themed "Anything that Looks like Summer". We are sponsored by Lily of the Valley and Lacy Sunshine this week, the latter also let the DT pick an image to work with, I chose this thirsty girl. I mean, is there anything more summery than a large drink with ice? Euh....probably, but still! What imagery makes you think immediately of summer? Let us know, use it in your project and join our challenge! Remember, we're still in fortnight mode, so you have two weeks to play along. Hope to see you there :)
Materials:
* Lacy Sunshine Carrie Chilled Lemonade digi (it's actually being retired, so if you want to get your hnds on it, be quick!), coloured with Promarkers & Spectrum Noirs. I also used a little bit of gloss on the glass to make it shine
* Papermania Summer Bloom, Basic Grey Olivia & Echo Park A Walk in the Park DPs
* Victorian Velvet Distress Ink
* Anna Griffin Letters & Borders stamp set
* Whimsy Summertime Digi sentiment set
* Brads from stash
Challenges:
* Creative Corner (Polka Dots)
* Paper Makeup Stamps (Sunny Days)
* QKR Stampede (Summer Fun)
* Card Crafters Circle (Dotty for Spots)
* Dream Valley (Summer Days)
* One Stitch at a Time (In the Summer)
* Happy Campers (Summer)
* A Little Bit Crazy (Summer Sun)
* City Crafter (Polka Dots)
* Heck of a Challenge (Summer Holidays)

Step Back Into Time
Happy Monday everyone!
Oh man, it's hot! This really is too much for me, so I am spending my days primarily sitting in front of our fan downstairs. For obvious reasons, I can't take the fan upstairs to the crafty room, so I literally had to sweat on this card I am sharing with you today for the Ooh La La Challenge.
Our challenge theme this fortnight was my pick, being "STEP BACK INTO TIME"! So use a vintage image and come and play along with us :) On the challenge blog you can see more examples from the excellent DT. We've had some new girls join us over the last month, so there's plenty of fresh ideas!

* Ooh La La Spring Walk set from the Passion for Fashion CD
* Country Companions For Someone Special DP

* Gems & Pearls from stash
Challenges:

Matchy-Matchy
Hi all,
Finally, some rain around here! I never thought I'd be so happy with a heavy shower :) It was pretty heavy though, we still had our windows and door open and that resulted in some local flooding but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a towel or two ;) It's still pretty warm and humid though, I hope that will go away soon too.
Anyway, on to this week's challenge @ Fab 'n Funky: "Make it a Set". Basically, we are asking you to make two or more projects that belong together: it could be a group of cards, a card & matching envelope or as in my case a Christmas card with a matching tag. I used the same colours, DPs and techniques on both elements to link them together.
We are sponsored by Digital Delights, Doodle Pantry and Stamp Art by Katherine, have a look at the challenge blog to find out more about their digis and much more.
Materials:
* Digital Delights Caroling Petey and Circular Christmoose sentiment, coloured with Promarkers & Spectrum Noirs
* Marianne Design Old-Fashioned Christmas, Basic Grey Jovial & Dovecraft Noel DPs
* Eline's Vintage Christmas stamps
* Victorian Velvet & Distress Ink
* Flower stem & Scalloped Circle punches
* Gems from stash
Challenges:
* Sweet Stampin' (Christmas in July)
* Digi Darla (Christmas in July)
* Sentimental Sundays (Christmas in July)
* Robin's Fetish (Christmas in July)
* Stamps & Fun (Christmas in Summer)
* Flourishes (Christmas in July)
* Pinspirational Challenge (Photo Inspiration) I've used the Christmas theme, red & green colours
* Shelly's Images (Christmas in July)
* Get Inky (Christmas/Birthdays)
* Lexi's Creations (Christmas in July)

To the One I Love
Good Monday all!
I don't know about you, but this hot weather certainly doesn't make me want to spend a lot of time in my sauna of a crafty room. To be honest, I'd rather sit in the garden with a history mag or spend a couple of hours in front of the fan watching a funny film with my hubs. However, I still want to be creative and try to craft for shorter periods of time, which works well but my progress is a lot slower.
We also had guests this weekend; one of my oldest friends and her husband spend some time at our house and stayed overnight. It was great to catch up with them, as we don't get to see each other that often.
But I did manage to make a card today's Ooh La La Challenge, themed "To the One You Love". I found an image that was already divided in two halves and thought it would be fun to make a gate fold card with it:
Materials:
* Ooh La La Together Forever image & DP from the Everyday Occasions CD
* Crafter's Companion CS
* Victorian Velvet Distress Ink
* Peel offs from my stash
Can't wait to see your creations, come and join us if you can!
Challenges:
* Tuesday Throwdown (Anything Goes)
* Oldie but a Goodie (In the Garden)
* Let's Craft & Create (Anything Goes)
* Crafts and Me (Anything Goes)
* Brown Sugar (Anything Goes)
* Southern Girls (No Spoolin')
* Dream Valley (Fancy Folds)
* Anything Goes Challenge (Anything Goes)
* Digi Haven (Any Animal)
* Creative Fingers (Anything Goes)
