Hello Everyone,
Wow, can't believe it has taken me so long to post on my blog! Some personal issues and a enormous pile of work in the last few weeks (which unfortunately I have to go back to after posting this) have kept me out of my crafty room unfortunately. But since it is Mother's Day today in the Netherlands, I had to make some time to make a card for my mum. I hope she has already received it and if not, then at least she can see what is winging its way to her :) I am hoping I will be able to craft a little more often from now on, I will do my best. Enjoy your weekend :)

Let It Snow!
Good morning everyone!
I had a lovely long weekend, yesterday it was Queen's Day here in the Netherlands and we had absolutely beautiful weather! We had a lovely walk into the town centre, had a short look around all the stalls of people selling the content of their attic and had a lovely ice cream in the sun :)
My card today is about a totally different kind of weather though, namely lovely winter snow! As it's the 1st of May, a new challenge started at Christmas Cards All Year Round and this time it's "CHRISTMAS CAROLS"! Or basically Christmas songs, so plenty to choose from. The prize this month is a gorgeous set of Christmas ornament stamps, go check it out! Hope to see you there :)
This is my card, inspired by the song Let It Snow:
Materials:
* Studio Light Decoupage image

Sugar & Spice and All Things Nice
Hi everyone!
Wow, I can't believe I haven't posted for so long, it's a busy period at work and we had my parents over for the Easter weekend, so not much crafty time I'm afraid. But I have a couple of new cards to show you, so I will be posting more often this week I hope! Talking of which, Card Makin' Mamas new challenge starts today, the theme is "MAKE IT GIRLY". That isn't the hardest of challenges is it? I went all out with pink, glitter, butterflies, flowers.......I tried to make it as girly as possible! I also framed the vintage picture with some matt silver mirror board and aged it, so it really looks like an old photo. Well, I think it does anyway :) Come on and join us! We also have a DT call, our DT coordinator Jess is looking for some more crafty talent, so if you fancy it come and apply. She'd love to see your work :)
Materials:
* Studio Light image (used matt silver mirror board and Distress Ink to age it)
* First Edition Spring Feast DPs
* Making Memories Paperie Rouge Button
* Kars Happy Birthday stamp
* Butterflies, pearls, ribbon & flower shape from stash

* Crafts & Me (3D Embellishments - Butterflies, pearls, ribbon, button, die cut flower)
* Belli Challenge (Children)
* Flutter By Wednesdays (Birthday)
* Cheerful Stamp Pad (From the Past)
* Love to Create (Birthday)
* Ooh La La (Vintage)
* Moving Along with the Times (Shabby Chic and/or Vintage)
